Nigel Barker
Parish Council Chair
Nigel has been a Parish Councillor for over 30 years and have been the Chair for the past 10.
He is also a District and County Councillor.
He is also served for several years on the Governing Body of the Primary School.
Nigel has lived in North Wingfield all his life, born in 1957 and was brought up on the Alma Estate.
He has had several jobs, including working down the pit for 10 years and then 20 years working with adults with learning disabilities.
He has gained several academic qualifications, including a Degree in Social Science and a MA in Public Administration.
