The allotments off of Alices View, which back onto the Alma Estate, were acquired by the Parish Council from British Coal back in 1990.

Since then the Parish has worked with the Allotment Association to keep the allotments in use.

The site comprises of 24 Allotments which are all rented out, they are well maintained throughout the growing season.

The site is also home to North Wingfield Community Garden. This is a large area run and maintained by the Community Garden for growing produce to share within the village.
